Detour directions
Weekdays
If you are coming south on I-75 from the northern burbs you can still exit at Mack but you have to follow the signs along the frontage road past Mack and turn at the next street to get into the market. Sometimes there is a LARGE traffic backup because it all gets funneled down to one lane. An alternate would be to stay on I-75 South and take the Gratiot exit about 1/2 mile further down the line. At the light you make the hairpin right turn and proceed two lights to Russell street and turn right into the market. Winder is three streets up on your right.
Weekends
Well weekends are a whole new ballgame. I-75 is closed from I-94 to downtown. Your detour starts when you take the I-94 West exit off I-75 South. Take I-94 to the Lodge (10) South. Take the Lodge South to I-75 North. Take I-75 North to the Gratiot exit. At the light you make the hairpin right turn and proceed two lights to Russell street and turn right into the market. Winder is three streets up on your right.
